PORTFOLIO: STANZIN KUNSAL

Stanzin Kunsal is from the small village Techa, which nelongs to the bigger village-community Youlsum. 2011 she attended class 8 and caught my eye due to her unique view through the camera-lens. She produced some “accidents” (blurred, wobbly, strange frame of picture), which had an own beauty. I was curious and gave her in the following years moreoften a camera, visited her regularely, to get to know her better and keep in contact. She delivered continuous “special photos” showing a headstrong point of view. I became a Kunsal-photo-fan. Here is her portfolio from the years 2011-2014. Then I stopped visiting Zanskar and we we lost sight of each other. Nowadays she is studying in Jammu and we keep contact on facebook.
