Dawa Tashi Tamang, 12 Jahre, ist aus einer armen Familie aus Ribdi, einem entlegenen Dorf dicht an der nepalesischen Grenze mit magerer Landwirtschaft. Mit weiteren 4 Jungen besucht er die Dubdi Klosterschule und begibt sich nur dreimal im Jahr in den Ferien auf die 5 Stunden dauernde Fahrt nach Hause. Die Klosterschule mit Internat ist kostenlos und damit eine gute Gelegenheit für sehr arme Familien. Er mag die Gemeinschaft der Jungen.

With another 4 boys he is joining the Dubdi monastic school, only going home the 5 hrs. drive 3 times a year for the holidays. The monastic school with hostel is free of costs and therefore a good option for the very poor people. He likes the close community of the boys.
