PORTFOLIO STANZIN SKALZANG

Stanzin Skalzang is from Khasar, a small village belonging to the bigger community of Youlsum. In the summer of 2013 he was aged 14. We have photos taken by him up to 2014, then his time in “our school” was finished and we lost contact. He was not a really good student, but his photos witness a strong sense of image formation and a sensitive observation. He seemed to have used the camera as a kind of visual diary. Or better said maybe a visual survey as he didn’t have the camera just few days (maybe these photos are from 10 days, out of 2 years). Also he wes thinking of always new ways of posings for a photo of himself.
