In 2012 I returned to the SECPAD-school in Zanskar to continue the Kamerakidz-project. Class 8 had left the school, some other children, too, and I had some more cameras in my luggage. So I had only 2 children from the last years photoclass to continue, but a whole class 8 to teach and 2 spare cameras, which I gave to two children from last years class 8, whom I thought to have some special talent.
Class 8:
It were 17 students: 4 girls and 13 boys, 8 from the villages around and 9 staying in the hostel. 2 attended the photoclass. As their classteacher wasn’t there for 2 weeks, I got the chance of spending quite some time with them teaching some stuff about photography, pictures and we also started a project photographing and describing their games.
This is the photoclass:
upper row: Tashi Lawang (14), Stanzin Dawa (15), Tundup Dolkar (12), Nana Ziesche
lower row: Lobzang Stobdan (13), Stanzin Chemath (15), Stanzin Sandup (14)
2017 I got an Update from a former student of class 8, who told me here everyone of them was:
green = College, red = South India, blue = not yet studying, white = not known
