We have chosen Rajasthan as a main focused destination out of several reasons. For one it is the personal approach and the own love to barren landscapes, for the other it is one of the most interesting states of India. Maharaja-gaudiness exists next to simple lifestyles in harmony with nature. Persistant intrusive souvenir dealers get on your nerves while borderless hospitality touches your heart. Endless appearing deserts in the west, soft and craggy hills in the south and east – in between the colourful dresses of the ladies. Amble camel-speed, fast rolling on the modern highways and traffic-chaos with autorickshaws. Vibrating cities and villages where time seems to stand still. Spicy vegetable curries and irresistable sweets. And (nearly) every day a surprise!

Rajasthan offers a variety of travel- and experience-possibilities apart of the classic fort- and palace-sightseeings. No question, the forts and palaces are impressive and overwhelming – but the experience of our travellers shows, that the less is the more. Who isn’t totally enthusiastic and travels empassionate from palace to fort to enjoy tireless the buildings, to those we recommend 3 or 4 during one journey as maximum.
